Welcome to ‘India at the CAS’ – an independent initiative, supported by Extra Cover, with the aim of creating an open-access repository of information relating to disputes involving Indian parties before the Court of Arbitration for Sport (“CAS”).

Indeed, the CAS is an institution that is rarely discussed from an Indian perspective. Therefore, this project seeks to shed light upon international sports arbitration in the Indian context, while serving as a useful resource for lawyers, students, journalists and all those with an interest in the legal aspects of sport; Indian sport in particular.

Please use the menu above to access case summaries and data analysis, followed by trends and observations on the state of international sports arbitration in India.

CAS awards involving Indian parties will be summarised and analysed, as and when publicly available.
